Match Report
Berkhamsted School Boys-U14C vs  Harrow School
On: Saturday, 12 Jan 2019
Venue: at Home

A difficult first fixture against a well-organised Harrow side. Berkhamsted started well and controlled the game in the early stages. Harrow created some good chances and scored two first half goals. An early second half goal left Berkhamsted chasing the game but the boys showed a real determination to get back into the game. Pushing forwards meant that gaps were left for Harrow to exploit but Louis Mackenzie in goal made some outstanding saves. Going forwards, Berkhamsted made several good chances in the second half with Hamish Hillier and Adam Cooper coming very close to scoring, shooting just over the bar and inches wide of the post respectively. In the final minutes Hamish slotted in a consolation goal for the home side. A loss, but with many positives to take into next week's game against Abingdon.
