Match Report
Berkhamsted School Boys-U13A vs  Highgate School
On: Saturday, 01 Dec 2018
Venue: Away

This was one of the best results of the season for the 13As as they displayed plenty of grit and resilience in very wet conditions to beat a strong Highgate School outfit. As the rain poured down in north London, the boys rode their luck in the first half as the home side hit the woodwork twice with Berkhamsted having very few chances. Much credit must go to the defence who worked like Stakhanovites to keep the scoreline goalless at the half-time whistle. The boys were in good spirits as the second half started, and soon took the lead as Henry reacted first to a loose ball and slotted home the first goal of the match. As the game progressed, Sam started to dominate the game in the midfield, and scored a deserved goal as he converted from Freddie's dangerous cross. Late on in the game, Jack was able to race onto Sam's through ball to add a third goal and secure a fine victory for the boys, extending their unbeaten run to an impressive six games. Many thanks to Highgate for the welcome refreshments.
