Match Report
Berkhamsted School Boys-U15A vs  Harrow School
On: Saturday, 08 Sep 2018
Venue: Away

With both Berkhamsted and Harrow unbeaten last season it was always going to be one of the toughest games the boys would face this year. It did not disappoint and despite a narrow loss the boys should walk away with their heads held high after a heroic effort. The first half was a cagey affair with defences very much on top. Both teams managed only a singular break and both breaks led to tries. The Berkhamsted try was scored by Oliver who broke multiple tackles before outpacing the fullback on his way under the posts.

The game opened up in the second half a little as both teams started to tire and mid way through Berkhamsted conceded two quick tries after being beaten on the outside. This did not deter the boys and each one of them fought to the very end, scoring a try late on to set up a tense finish. Berkhamsted were unable to breach the Harrow defence again in the final minutes and the game ended 21-7. A great game to start the season and one which the boys will learn a huge deal from.
