Match Report
Berkhamsted School Boys-U14B vs  Abingdon School
On: Saturday, 29 Sep 2018
Venue: Away

Berkhamsted opened scoring early using the backs ball out to Charlie in space on the wing who finished well in the corner. 10 minutes later Berkhamsted doubled their lead with George showing great strength and power when he picked from 8 to score from a 5 metre scrum. George went over again for his second try of the game and 8th of the season just before half time to put Berkhamsted up 17-0 at the break.

Berkhamsted started quickly in the second half not allowing Abingdon to get out of their 22 for first few minutes before Austen’s interception and cleaver pop to Marcus led to a try and with Ryan converting to put the away side 24-0 up. Abingdon then staged an excellent comeback and scored 2 quick tries to put the game back in the balance at 24-12. But a Austen intercept try with 5 minutes remaining meant that it was 3 wins in a row for Berkhamsted.

Another great performance, but a few things to work on before a tough match against RGS High Wycombe next weekend.
